We are based on a traditional hill farm in Bannau Brycheiniog National Park - so it's exciting to work for a number of innovative food and environmental organisations in Wales, developing and designing branding, publications, exhibition and marketing material.
Bwyd Sir Gâr Food aims to create a healthier, sustainable, and fairer local food system through a place-based, partnership-driven approach here in Carmarthenshire (Sir Gâr). We developed a bilingual branding with brand guidelines covering all aspects of communication from design and typography to values and tone of voice, plus design templates for partners to use, and interpretation panels.
Food Sense Wales aims to influence and impact on how food is produced and consumed in Wales, ensuring that sustainable food, farming and fisheries are at the heart of a just, connected and prosperous food system. We've designed publications, marketing and exhibitions material for them, and produced a visual toolkit to clarify and develop their existing branding.
We also designed a visual toolkit for Food Cardiff, with similar goals. For partner-driven organisations, it's particularly important to have clear and accessible guidelines ensure effective on-brand communication.
We designed a bilingual report 'Land of Our Future' for WWF- Cymru, looking at diverse farming case studies. As the introduction states:
Farming is at the heart of how we use land in Wales - almost 90% is farmland. So supporting farmers to adopt climate and nature friendly farming practices is crucial to changing our future. With Wales now outside the European Union (EU), the Welsh Government is in charge of shaping farming policy and land use across the country. WWF Cymru sees this as a great opportunity to make sure future farming and food production in Wales is ‘sustainable’ – meaning fit for the future, good for people, nature and the planet, as well as for Welsh farmers."
